Lip fillers offer a safe, effective way to enhance your lips' shape, volume, and symmetry, with results that look natural and feel like you.
Lip filler treatments use hyaluronic acid (HA) — a naturally occurring substance in the body that attracts and retains moisture. When carefully injected into and around the lips, it adds volume, improves definition, and can smooth fine lines around the mouth, all while maintaining the natural movement and feel of your lips.
At The York Dental Suite, Dr Valencia uses premium, FDA-approved HA products and advanced injection techniques to achieve results that complement your natural facial balance.
We use premium, UK-licensed hyaluronic acid dermal fillers including Juvéderm® and Restylane® — products specifically formulated for lip enhancement, with built-in lidocaine to help keep treatment comfortable.
All products are sourced from reputable, regulated suppliers and administered exclusively by Dr Camila Valencia, an experienced aesthetic doctor. You are in expert hands from start to finish.
Your treatment begins with a consultation where Dr Valencia will discuss your concerns and goals, assess your natural lip shape and facial proportions, and design a treatment plan tailored to you. There's no pressure — you're involved in every decision.
A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment for comfort. The injection points are carefully marked, and the product is gently injected using an ultra-fine needle. Dr Valencia will massage the product to ensure smooth, even distribution.
Your first appointment typically takes 45–60 minutes. Follow-up sessions are shorter. Dental blocks are available for patients who are particularly sensitive.
Results are visible immediately, though your lips will be swollen for a few days after treatment. The full settled result is seen at 2–4 weeks. Lip fillers typically last 6–12 months, as the lips metabolise product a little faster than other areas of the face.
Prices will vary based on your bespoke treatment plan, but as a guide HA dermal fillers start from £400 per syringe.

Dr Camila Valencia comes from a family of surgeons and completed medical school at the School of Medicine in Guayaquil, in her home country of Ecuador.
After finishing medical school, she pursued further studies in Spain where she obtained her Masters degree in Aesthetic Medicine from the School of Medicine in Cordoba. As an entrepreneur, she founded her own Laser Hair Removal company and worked in various specialist Aesthetic Medicine clinics in Madrid for the next 11 years.
In 2014 she moved to the UK with her family and settled in Knaresborough, the place they now consider home.
